Counterpoint Music Therapy is a health and wellness clinic in Ottawa where music is used skilfully as a therapeutic stimulus to achieve primarily non-musical treatment goals.

During the weekly 45-minute sessions, the music therapist will use an individualized set of music therapy interventions to help the child meet his or her objectives and goals. The intervention activities might consist of sung songs, percussion-playing, music and movement activities, academic musical activities (aimed at learning, for instance, numbers or letters), piano or guitar playing, or other activities.
